Preschool
Welcome to Mona Shores Preschool! We hope to offer your child a variety of experiences that are worthwhile and meaningful to young minds and bodies. Our philosophy emphasizes the total development of each child. Activities are designed to promote physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth. We are proud to enjoy a reputation as the top, longest running preschool in the area. The Mona Shores Preschool Program will provide a positive, safe, nurturing environment in which children can develop the social and emotional skills necessary to encourage learning.
In addition, we will foster in our students a sense of responsibility, cooperation, self-reliance, playfulness and positive self-esteem, while offering many chances to experience success. We will encourage creativity and individual differences, and build on motor skill development to help students master simple tasks.
Our staff is selected by considering academic qualifications, experience teaching preschool age children and the desire to teach this age group. All teachers are highly certified and meet the state of Michigan qualifications to teach early childhood education.
