Schools of Choice
Thank you for your interest in Mona Shores Public Schools. The Schools of Choice application for the 2024-25 school year is closed. The Schools of Choice Application for the 2025-26 school year opens on May 1 and will be posted on this page when it becomes available. See below for openings and how the process works.
Application Process

The opportunity to submit an online non-resident Schools of Choice application is available May 1-30 each year. You must submit an application during the application window to be considered for Schools of Choice but when you submit the application during the May 1-30 window has no bearing on acceptance. Applications are selected by a lottery according to the number of spots available in each grade level. A separate application must be completed for each student.
Acceptance/denial letters are mailed on July 1. Acceptance letters contain instructions for enrollment.
Students who do not complete enrollment by the deadline, and those who do not attend, must reapply for the following year. Students with any suspensions or expulsions are not eligible to apply. Students with truancies may require a parent meeting with administration.
Transportation
Transportation is not included in the Mona Shores Schools of Choice Plan.
