Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

Student Orientation Information


During your assigned orientation time, students may “drop-in” when convenient.  Please only plan to attend during your scheduled time. Plan to bring a backpack for the materials you will receive and your student ID. All 9th and 11th graders will receive a new ID at orientation.  Students will not be issued a Chromebook without an ID.  Students may enter through the Sailor Center Lobby (stadium parking lot).  The orientation process could take anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the volume of students attending at any one time.

8:00 a.m. – 1:30 pm All Freshmen - Please meet in the Sailor Center Lobby. 



During Orientation, Students Will:

  • Receive your class schedule.
  • Receive your orchestra uniform if applicable.
  • Receive your choir uniform if applicable. (10th-12th Grades only)
  • Have your picture taken. Packets will be available at orientation or print out the Radium Photo Form To fill out the picture form online please click Here.
  • 9th & 11th grade students will receive a new student ID.  10th & 12th grade students need to bring their student ID or purchase a replacement ID for $5.00 at the picture station.
  • Receive Chromebook/Password - All parents must log in to the Parent Portal with their student(s) and click the Demographics Update link PRIOR to orientation.  Instructions for how to log into the Parent Portal Annual Forms & Information Update or create a new account if you did not have one in our district prior to this year.
  • Find your new locker.  Your locker # and combinations will be available in the Parent/Student Portal under the School Information link, and then along the top of that School Information box.
  • Purchase a parking pass if eligible.  Please have the online form filled out and bring your $20 payment to orientation.  Cash/Checks to:  Mona Shores High School.   Parking Pass Form
  • All Freshmen: be sure to read the separate Freshman Orientation informational sheet for specific instructions on your orientation on 8/26/24.
