- Homecoming Dance Tickets:
- Saturday, October 5th from 7-10 pm at the High School
- Tickets are $15.00 each. Dance Ticket Link: GoFan
- MSHS students will be allowed to bring one guest from another school or a past graduate. Guest forms can be picked up in the Main Office and must be approved no later than Wednesday, October 2nd. Once approved, a code will be sent to the student’s email that is requesting to bring a guest. Guest tickets may be purchased online using the sent code.
- In order to purchase a Homecoming dance ticket, students must not have any outstanding fees or fines.

Counseling Office News
College Planning
College Planning 101 for Junior & Senior Parents
Junior and Senior Parents: There will be a College 101 presentation in the Library (LMC) at 5:30pm on October 8 during parent/teacher conferences. We will share a basic timeline for college planning as well as information about the college application process, scholarships and financial aid information.
College Fair
MCC is hosting a college fair on Tuesday, October 15th from 5:30pm-7:00pm located in Collegiate Hall. Currently there are around 50 colleges and military reps signed up to attend.
Senior Meetings
Counselors are beginning to meet with seniors one-on-one about their future plans. Much information is available under “Classwork” in their Counseling google classroom page.
Scholarships:
Please go to our scholarship page to see many more available scholarships at: https://www.monashores.net/o/mshs/page/financial-aid-and-scholarships. Scholarship notices are posted throughout the building, on our website, on the daily announcements and in the Class of 2025 Google Classroom.
Transcripts
Seniors, request your transcript through Parchment AFTER your college application is submitted. There is a link at the bottom of the Mona Shores High School webpage. Account setup instructions can also be found there. Transcript orders are free for graduating seniors through July 31.
FAFSA
FAFSA is scheduled to open December 1. College-bound seniors should complete the 25-26 FAFSA (on or after Dec. 1st; it is not available yet)to determine your eligibility for college grants, scholarships, and loans. MI Student Aid has a lot of information available for students and families.
SAT Test Preparation:
Students may utilize Khan Academy. Please see Mr. Higgs in the LMC for more information about this free service.
