Good News:
Today, we celebrated positive behaviors in our monthly CREW assembly. Students were recognized for their positive behaviors in and out of the classroom. As a way to celebrate the successful month of school, all CREW members will take part in a winter art project.
We had a great week bringing attention to our Be Nice initiative at Lincoln Park. Students enjoyed extra Be Nice lessons as well as dressing up for spirit week. It was truly a great week!

Our growth mindset for the month of February is “I control the CHOICES I make!”.
Yearbook Order Forms have been sent home. This is your only opportunity to order a yearbook. Picture packages did not include yearbooks. If you choose to order a yearbook, include $10 with the form and return by the due date of February 14.
On January 30, 31 and February 1 the Mona Shores Middle School Allegrettos will present Into the Woods JR. at the Mona Shores High School Performing Arts Center. You can purchase tickets at the door or by using this link: cur8.com/2232/project/127663
Bank Deposit Day:
We have scheduled a Kickstart to Career Bank Deposit Day for Thursday, February 6 . For an explanation of Deposit Day, watch this video explaining deposit day. Those wishing to make a deposit to their account should return the deposit envelopes with money inside, on this date.

Kindergarten Roundup:
If you have a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, please call the office and let us know, and then complete the following:
STEP 1: Visit the Student Enrollment page on our website and complete the registration form.
STEP 2: Gather these required documents:
birth certificate
current immunization record or waiver
proof of residency (see the Residency Verification checklist for required/acceptable documents)
proof of a hearing & vision screening
proof of a dental exam
Save the date and make a plan to attend the Kindergarten Roundup event for parents and guardians, only, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 6:00 pm.
PTO News:
Through our collective efforts through the Walk-A-Thon, the PTO has opted to provide all evening PTO events for no charge. This includes the upcoming Daughter Dance.
Daughter Dance - Masquerade Ball is Saturday, February 8 from 6 - 8.
Be sure to send in the RSVP if you have not already done so.
An opportunity to order photos was sent home with all girls. Just bring that on the night of the dance to order if you choose.
Please join our PTO for the next meeting on Tuesday, February 11 at 6:00PM in the library. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but are interested in giving input or helping out, please contact our PTO: lincolnparkptocrew@gmail.com
Hearing and Vision Screening:
Public Health Muskegon County is scheduled to provide our students with Hearing and Vision testing on February 26 and February 27.
Grades K, 2, and 4 will receive hearing screens.
Grades 1, 3, and 5 will receive vision screens.
If you wish to NOT have your child screened, please notify the office by Monday, February 24th, 2025.
Student Illness Reminders:
If your child is ill, please refer to the attached document when making the decision on whether to send your student to school or keep them home.
