Parent crew is looking for some assistance with a couple of things! (Donations and time:) 1. The first positive behavior celebration (school store) is quickly approaching and the parent crew is in need of some donations to help get the store up and running. We are very much looking forward to our first Sailor Celebration of the year on Friday, November 22 from 5:00-6:30. The theme will be Winter Olympics and will include some Olympic themed games as well as our usual, karaoke, dancing, basketball, video game room and a craft. Dress is casual, but feel free to dress to the theme! Tickets will be on sale during lunch at school starting Wednesday November 20th for $4 but jump to $5 at the door. Pizza, beverages and candy will also be for sale for $1/$2. In order to make our event possible, we need parent  support! Ride With Pride assemblies last week allowed us to celebrate students who signed and followed the RWP pledge all year! A huge shoutout to NSPD, Cindy Jurkas, and Buckle In Muskegon for making this program happen! One 8th grader left with a longboard and a free session of drivers training among other prizes, and we were able to give away a longboard, hammocks, and other prizes to 6th and 7th grade winners as well! Lots of fun, and we are thankful for these awesome community partnerships that promote healthy and safe choices!

Congratulations to our April Students of the Month! These students were selected by our staff members as consistently demonstrating outstanding character and PRIDE -- personal responsibility, respect, integrity, disciplined, and engagement. We are so proud of them!

Today sure was cold, but our MSMS Girls on the Run team persevered and finished all 3.1 miles with enthusiasm. We are so proud!
