Mona Shores Performing Arts

Senior trumpet players Noah Boyden and Isaac Madl took on the challenge of auditioning for the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association All-State ensembles in October.   Noah was selected to represent Mona Shores as the lead trumpet in the All-State Jazz Band, and Isaac was selected as an honorable mention.  “Consistent practice is important to be successful,” said Isaac when asked about his audition preparation.  “I’m honored to be selected for this ensemble”, Noah said.  “Dedication pays off.”   The All-State performances take place in conjunction with the Michigan Music Conference on January 27, at Devos Place in Grand Rapids.
