5th grade classes had food pairing with books today. Each class was transformed into a restaurant, and students were brought to a dining experience . Classmates had discussions about how different books paired with various foods. It was a fun morning with a lot of digging into stories.

Assembly this morning to kick off our schoolwide Positive Behavior and HFO Challenge. We also celebrated our new Book Vending Machine where the students can earn tokens for free books! Such an exciting and positive day!

For March is Reading Month Students are Reading all about Humphrey the Hamster and his Mysteries. Each student will have the opportunity to take Humphrey home and read to him. Here are some pictures of the kids and their adventures with him!!
Book buddies meet every Friday. This gives kids a chance to interact and learn from different grade level/age of students. Today Young 5's and 5th graders played games.
